Purpose of the audit
Establishing the reliability of the audited entity's financial statements. Financial statements are considered reliable when they accurately reflect the financial position of the audited entity, ensuring completeness and compliance with the applicable laws and regulations of Turkmenistan. The accounting procedures implemented by the audited entity should ensure the reliability and accuracy of its financial statements.

The auditor is required to keep the information they receive confidential. They must not disclose this information without the consent of the owner (manager) of the audited entity, and they cannot use it for personal gain or for the benefit of third parties.
